Michael Bublé Live in Singapore 2015 for a Concert with Special Guest Naturally 7

Michael Bublé (2014)
Michael Bublé

I was pretty excited to hear that Michael Bublé would be coming back to Singapore for a concert in January 2015 but when I saw the final announcement, I wasn’t excited anymore.

Michael Bublé is performing 2 nights at the Marina Bay Sands Grand Ballroom on 16 and 17 January 2015 and tickets are priced at $688 (VIP includes drink vouchers and merchandise), $488, $388 and $288. There are some (last resort) restricted view tickets going at $188. The prices are in Singapore dollars and does not include the $4 booking fee.

I like Michael Bublé but $288 to sit at the back is just priced out of my league. It’s crazy. I went to google other Michael Bublé dates and I saw that Bangkok (24 January 2015) was priced at THB 2,000 – 6,5000 (approx SGD 80 ~ 260) and Kuala Lumpur (27 January 2015) is priced at MYR 198 – 998 (approx SGD 75 ~ 378). I didn’t bother to check Jakarta and Manila but I’m pretty sure it won’t be as expensive as the Singapore tickets.

All ticket prices for shows in all countries are stated without fees.

With a favourable exchange rate against the Malaysian Ringgit, I might as well spend $688 to go on a 3 day 2 night trip to Kuala Lumpur and include a mid-priced ticket to the Michael Bublé concert. It definitely is do-able.

And by the way, beatboxing group Naturally 7 are special guests for all Michael Bublé dates. Check them out:

OPEN AUDITION for “Asia’s Got Talent” in Singapore 2014

For those of you with a burning passion and a hidden/not so hidden talent, you can go to the Singapore Open Audition for “Asia’s Got Talent” on 27 September 2014 at the Marina Bay Sands Theatre.

The open audition starts from 10.00 am and ends at 7.30 pm. There are no restrictions and anyone is welcome to audition. You should click here to find out about the things you need to take note of at the open audition.

If you are unable to make it to the open audition in Singapore, there are additional auditions scheduled in Kuala Lumpur [28 September 2014 from 9.00 am – 7.00 pm at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus (Jalan Taylor’s, Subang Jaya, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia)] and Manila [28 September 2014, 10.00 am – 6.00 pm at the SMX Convention Center, Seashell Lane, Pasay City]. You can also log on to  www.axn-asia.com/AsiasGotTalent to audition online.

[25 September 2014 | Note] It seems like the registration for the audition has crashed so if you don’t get to register or something, I’d say to just show up and see if there is a queue you can join at the venue.

Good luck!!

“Asia’s Got Talent” is co-owned by FremantleMedia and Simon Cowell’s Syco Entertainment and will premiere on AXN in early 2015 across 20 territories in Asia, including South Korea, Hong Kong and the Republic of China.
