Psy’s Gangnam Style is heading for world domination. I kid you not. The annoyingly catchy but super fun tune has made its way into mainstream America. If you haven’t heard of Psy’s Gangnam Style, where the hell have you been? Seriously.

Hitting 117++ million views in just more than a month is really record breaking. No video has gone viral at this rate EVER. So even if you hate the song, you need to give Psy and the composers due respect for being able to achieve so much and spread so far in such a short span of time.

For that achievement, Psy got himself invited to the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards at the last minute to make an appearance and say something. You can check out a low quality version of the appearance here:

Even though Psy didn’t perform at the main VMA show (I think it was too last minute to do a proper stage), he did however perform Gangnam Style with the boys of The Wanted at the VMA Pre-show at Avalon the night before.

I’m sorry to say this but really, The Wanted boys cannot dance. LOL. Still, I hope that they’ll do Gangnam Style when they come to Singapore for a concert next week. Haha.
