After the 14U concert on 19 June 2018 at K! Stage-O, I was roaming around the area to help a friend try find a shop that sells the Ji Chang Wook DVD. As I was walking around on my mission, I was distracted by this bunch of cute looking boys walking past me. Behind them was a bunch of girls tailing them with huge DSLRs.
Fangirl instincts in me shouted, “THESE BOYS ARE SOME K IDOLS!”
Since those boys are cute and I’m curious as to who they are, I followed them a bit. One of the members, Yong Jin, walked towards me and handed me their promotional flyer. It was definitely very obvious that I have no idea who they are so he said something to me but nothing registered because I was completely distracted by his lovely smile. LOL. What a sweetheart.
It’s quite the “in” thing for rookie K Idol groups to do long stints of promotions in Japan and typically, first timers to their promotional showcases get to enter and watch them for free. Since it’s a free show, I thought why not? And I squeezed some time to watch an AWEEK’s performance on my last day in Japan.
While talking to one of the staff members as I was registering, I found out what AWEEK hasn’t even debut and they are currently doing pre-debut promotions in Japan. That explained why I could not find anything about them when I was searching the Internet.
I did not stay for the entire showcase performance because Kiseop and Hoon of U-Kiss had some event that afternoon as well. And U-Kiss >>>>>>>>>>> AWEEK. Sorry AWEEK. #notsorry. #priorities.
I then realised that Yong Jin was part of Product 101! No wonder he looked very comfortable on stage compared to the other members. There is this other member called Aiden who also caught my eye because he is pretty sexy. ㅋㅋㅋ
