So I went to the Good Charlotte concert at The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore earlier tonight. A friend called up in the afternoon with an extra pair of tickets and since I wasn’t doing anything, I was like, “Okay. Why not?”
I must say that this is my first concert at The Coliseum and I was quite shocked to find out how small the venue was. After getting over the surprise, it’s actually a pretty nice venue because it was windy (fortunately) and it allowed for an intimate feel to the concert being able to see the performer clearly.

Also, I think the organizers of the event kinda went apeshit with the volume and put a bit too much bass in the sound that was blasting out of the speakers. A lot of the times, I couldn’t really hear what Joel and Benji were saying. I couldn’t even hear myself even though I know that I was screaming at the top of my voice.
Anyway, this is like Good Charlotte’s second concert in Singapore and it was still fun like before. 🙂 The only difference was that we are all so much older now. Haha. I can’t stand for as much, can’t jump as much and can’t sing along as much. Lost my voice at the gig so it’s a sure sign that it was awesome.
Additionally, I actually had slipped and fallen on Sunday night, hurting my knee as a result. However, when Good Charlotte sang “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous”, I was like screw it, it’s my favourite song. I’m jumping. Hahaha. I’m so paying the price of not caring for my knee right now.
I definitely had fun at the concert and hanging out after the concert to wait for the crowd to clear at the monorail station. 🙂
So here are the rest of the photos that turned out ok/decent from the Good Charlotte gig:
