Zhang Yun Jing is the winner from a talent show from Taiwan called “Super Idol”. I recall reading her profile and seeing her picture prior to watching her at Sundown Festival 2011 but seeing her in the flesh, her androgynous look seriously messed my head up a lot.

As I’m not really familiar with her or her work, I started to wonder if I read her profile wrongly and that it’s a guy instead. Or even worse, I got the performer wrong.

She was a good singer and performer but for me, her androgyny just overshadowed everything that I remembered from her performance last night. The shame.
