The cool people at Comedy Central Asia decided to throw a Roast-Themed party last night in “honour” of the premiere of the Justin Bieber Roast on Comedy Central Asia.

If you are not familiar with the comedy roast format, from Wikipedia:
A roast is an event in which a specific individual, a guest of honor, is subjected to good-natured jokes at their expense intended to amuse the event’s wider audience. This type of event was created as a mock counter to a toast.
I must say that the comedy roast format isn’t something that can be easily understood if you are not familiar with the person who is being roasted. You must really have some knowledge on the subject matter otherwise even the funniest joke will just go over your head.
So that said, if you didn’t already know, Justin Bieber got his ass roasted big time on the “Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber”. If you are an anti-of Justin Bieber, this show is for you.
I’ve heard that it’s completely hysterical and even the biggest Bieber anti that I know actually felt sorry for him. It was brutal as I was told. It even has a NC-16 rating so yeah, brace yourselves. ^^

So back to the Comedy Central Asia’s party; the cool people at Comedy Central Asia got a bunch of Singapore-based stand up comedians to do a roast-themed stand-up set.
The comedian profile I got listed Sharul as as the only female Singaporean stand-up comedian in the circuit but I was like “what about Kumar?” XP
Anyway, Sharul did a really excellent job as the host last night so kudos!
Among all the comedians last night, the funniest act of the night has got to be Fuzz.
I was in such agony throughout Fuzz’s set because on top of an aching jaw and stomach from laughing so hard, I needed to pee pretty badly at that time as well. The worst possible thing that can happen at a stand-up comedy show.
Fortunately for me, Fuzz ended his set just before I was about to pee in my pants. Hahaha.
Shout out to the other stand up comedians, Jinx Yeo, Kristel Zweers, Mathew Giffen and Rishi Budrani for their set last night. Thank you for the good and not so clean fun. Hehehe…
Finally, thank you to the cool people at Comedy Central Asia for organising this roast-themed party and for sending me the invite! I had such a blast! ^^
