My last day in Seoul (23 September 2015) was also the craziest but it was so worth it!
I woke up around 7.45 am KST and packed the last few things into my luggage. As I was done and carrying my 21 kg luggage and 2 other bags of stuff down from the 5th floor, one of the wheels on my luggage broke. (T^T)
There was no time to buy another luggage and repack as it was still too early and the shops haven’t opened. I had no choice but to carry/drag the luggage the entire journey until I can reach a trolley at the airport.
The night before, I was frantically googling and naver-ing until 2.00 am KST if there were any lockers that were large enough to store my luggage at Hongik, Digital Media City or near MBC Dream Center coz there was definitely no way I could bring my luggage to the pre-recording. Also, there wasn’t enough time for me to go back to the guesthouse to pick up the luggage before heading to the Airport. If I couldn’t find a way to store my luggage, I would have to pass on seeing BIGSTAR for the last time before I flew back to Singapore.
As fate would have it, I stumbled upon a new establishment situated within the Hongik Subway Station that would store your luggage for a small fee! It’s called Raon Baggage Storage! Check them out!! I’m sure many of you Oppa hunting fans would find this link/information very useful as it means that you don’t need to rush to your guesthouse/hotel to drop/pick up your luggage after landing/before you fly back.
So after I dropped off my luggage, I headed over to MBC Dream Centre in Ilsan. To get there, take Line 3 to Jeongbalsan Station (정발산역) and get out from Exit 1. Turn right into the park, walk straight through the other end of the part until you reach the road and turn left. The main entrance to MBC Dream Center is straight ahead.

After arriving at around 11.00 am KST, I joined the BIGSTAR queue and waited around with the rest of the fans before we were lead to wait outside the studio where the pre-recording would take place.
When we arrived outside the studio, a rookie singer called “Roh Ji Hoon” was doing camera rehearsals so we couldn’t go in. He rehearsed a few times before we were finally allowed in to watch his pre-recording.

Truth was, there were no fans in the queue to see Roh Ji Hoon so all the BIGSTAR OnlyOnes made all the noise for his pre-recording. LOL. Roh Ji Hoon was really nervous but after all the BIGSTAR OnlyOnes made so much noise and had so much fun using his name as the fan chant during his song, he ended up laughing during his performance; which was actually a soppy love ballad about how much a guy loves a girl. LOL.
Check out his performance here. You can hear him laugh around the 1:27 mark. ^^
We made so much noise that when BIGSTAR took to the stage, they commented about how we were probably bigger fans of Roh Ji Hoon than them. LOL. Well Roh Ji Hoon is handsome… in a Kim Soo Hyun kind of way. Even when he casually sat down on the bench, it looked like a pictorial. I’m not kidding! Hahaha.
When he sat down, everyone went “ooooOOOoooOOOoooohhh!!!” and he got a shock and looked really shy and became very awkward as he didn’t know how to react to such adoration. As he relaxed, he started to enjoy himself and the fan participation that he deliberately ran his fingers through his hair sexily in the middle of the song and all of us reciprocated by screaming. LMAO!!
Anyway, here is BIGSTAR’s performance of their latest single “달빛 소나타 (Shine A Moonlight)” on Episode 160 of Show Champion. (You can try to spot my head in the audience as well ^^ I am visible for a split second or two. LOL.)
I would like to draw your attention to Baram in the video above. If you do not have any idea who Baram is, he is the last guy to rap in the song.
His dog of 13 years had died overnight and he was actually very sad during the taping. You can’t really tell that he was feeling so down from the performance above because he knew he had a job to do and he should be professional about it but once the camera stopped, he was just so moody and sad. My heart broke when I saw how sad he looked.
Anyway, I didn’t dare to take sneaky pics of the stage this time around because there were so little people and I’m pretty sure I’d get caught if I tried so I didn’t risk it.
This marks the end of part 1 of my crazy last day in Seoul. ^^ I just realised that it’ll be too much to put into one post so I’m splitting it into two. Sorry for the suspense about the post pre-recording fanmeet/hi-touch event. ^^
