Melissa McCarthy and Paul Feig (Director) of the 2016 remake of Ghostbusters are in town to do promotions for the movie as part of the Sony Movie Summit which is happening this week in Singapore.

The Sony Movie Summit started with a red carpet event for Ghostbusters (2016) and the event was almost a washout given the huge downpour about an hour before the start of the event. Fortunately, the rain stopped in time and everything went on without a hitch.

Melissa McCarthy arrived with Director Paul Feig around 8.30 pm and they were on the red carpet/stage for one full hour before they left!

Melissa McCarthy is super duper nice and friendly!! I thought I wasn’t going to be able to get an autograph and photo with her because I was on the other side but she took the time to walk over to sign and take pictures with as many people as she could!

She was really funny. She saw that the light was too harsh and it made the photo look ugly and she actually lifted the fan above our heads to try to block off some of the light.
