It’s been a week since the Bruno Mars “24K Magic World Tour” in Singapore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 6 May 2018 and I’m still not over it.
The 90 minutes concert was no doubt non-stop fun and very well timed. I say well-timed because the concert started at 7.06 pm and it ended promptly at 8.36 pm. No shit.
- 24k Magic
- Calling All My Lovelies
- That’s What I Like
- Versace On The Floor
- Marry You
- Runaway Baby
- When I Was Your Man
- Locked Out Of Heaven
- Just The Way You Are
- ENCORE: Uptown Funk
I don’t know if it was because time flew by so quickly because the concert was so fun or I’m too used to 3-hour long Super Show concerts that this 90 minutes Bruno Mars concert feels like nothing. IT IS JUST NOT ENOUGH!
Also, the entire concert was a 90 minutes long massive singalong session. Everyone was singing along so loudly that at times, I could hardly hear Bruno. Check it out for yourselves:
It is a very nice experience when the entire audience sings in unison. I used to be so envious of the concert atmosphere in London because everyone would sing along to every word of every song. I must say that the audience in Singapore have mostly caught up. So good job to everyone!
The stage was really simple with just a huge screen backdrop and a live band. No props and no gimmicks; just great music and showmanship from Bruno Mars and this band. Heck, Bruno Mars and his crew just wore basketball uniform as their stage outfit. There was no shortage of fun and entertainment despite the simplicity.
The entry into the stadium was pretty well organised and orderly as well BUT it would be even better if those of you who started queueing earlier in the day picked up after yourselves and dispose of your trash instead of leaving it strewn all over the floor. There are bins at the bag check to get rid of your plastic water bottles so how hard is it to hold your trash until that point and drop it into the bin?
Anyway, big up to Lushington Entertainment and Live Nation for bringing Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic World Tour” to Singapore! Here’s to the next one!
