At the MTV Asia office this morning for the VMA screening, the kind folks at MTV Asia passed us a DVD screener for the first 2 episode of the new MTV series “Awkward”. I read the series synopsis and thought that it’s just going to be another one of those typical teenage problems series. Still, I gave it a shot and watched the 2 episodes. … Continue reading Awkward (The MTV Series)
30 Seconds To Mars is without a doubt one of the best rock bands in the world right now. With killer rock tunes and broodingly handsome faces, what’s there not to like about 30 Seconds To Mars? Frontman Jared Leto was no doubt the reason for most of the screaming. I was screaming myself. Haha. Of course I couldn’t forget about the lovely Shannon and … Continue reading 30 Seconds To Mars at MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011
Neon Trees blew up the stage at World Stage. #fact #truth Elaine ROCKS!! She totally rules as a drummer! And it is so rare to see a female drummer in a band. It was totally fun to hear my favourite songs “1983” and “Animal” live!! The whole crowd went mad as well! Needless to say, the crowd was craziest when Tyler started singing “Animal”. The … Continue reading Neon Trees at MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011

Dressed in white and black, the boys pranced about energetically on stage. While I’m not very familiar with their songs, I was definitely feeling their energy. I certainly enjoyed their set … Continue reading B2ST/Beast at MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011
Unfortunately, as a result of our 2 hours delay at the Malaysian Immigration (yes, I’m still very annoyed), we missed Popshuvit on stage. š I’m sure they were pretty explosive from the photos that I saw. The crowd looks like they loved it. Were you there at the Popshuvit MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 performance? What did you think? Continue reading Popshuvit at MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011

MTV Asia once again held a special bloggers screening for the MTV Movie Awards 2011. I had an awesome time watching the awards and chatting with fellow bloggers and the MTV crew. I also totally love the popcorn plush that they gave us. It’s super cute!!! MTV should get Jason Sudeikis to the VMAs later in the year or some other award show next year. … Continue reading MTV Asia bloggers screening of MTV Movie Awards 2011
