Jessie J, with her blinged up cast and crutches, served as house band for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. Those of us who were not at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles only got to see a good 30 seconds or so of Jessie J singing while she sat in her white chair.
It’s such a shame that there are so many people who have no idea who she is. Jessie J is amazing live and is one of the most talented singers out there right now.
Jessie J certainly deserves a spot on the live show itself rather than just as the house band/artist that performs between each commercial break. Shame that she is still unknown stateside.
Anyway, I hope that with this VMA appearance, more people will learn what a true singer can and should sound like!
