This is like my third trip to Seoul and only my first time to the Super Junior related/owned outlet of Kona Beans. As a huge fan of Super Junior, how could I right? I know. Lol. Anyway, it’s better late than never right?
Anyway, here’s how to get to the Super Junior (Sungmin, Leeteuk + Kyuhyun + their Mums’) Kona Beans outlet in Apgujeong.
You basically have 2 options now. You can either get off the train at Apgujeong Station or Apgujeong Rodeo Station. Kona Beans is kinda in the middle of both so there is no real difference of which is the nearer station.
From Apgujeong Station (압구정역), get out from Exit 2. Make a 180 degrees turn and go towards the traffic junction. DO NOT CROSS THE ROAD. Take a right turn at the traffic junction and keep walking straight until you see Apgujeong-ro 42-gil (압구정로 42길) then turn RIGHT. ** Additional tip: to make sure you are walking along the correct road, make sure that you see Apgujeong Hyundai Apartments (압구정 현대 아파트) on your left across the road.
From Apgujeong Rodeo Station (압구정로데오역), get out from Exit 6 and walk straight. Keep Walking straight until you hit Apgujeong-ro 42-gil (압구정로 42길) then turn LEFT.
Once you are walking on Apgujeong-ro 42-gil (압구정로 42길), you should see this:

It’s just a short (yes, Singaporean idea of short) walk down the road and you can see Kona Beans!

So there you have it, how to get to the Super Junior related Kona Beans.
And as for you all hoping to spot Super Junior members, you can pretty much forget it. The Super Junior members are not known to show up frequently at the shop at all. Maybe like once a year or two.
However, one of their mum’s will be there. “Their” meaning Sungmin, Kyuhyun and Leeteuk. Also, their mums will take the gifts on behalf of their sons’. Do take note that their mums WILL open the presents so let’s all be eco-friendly and not wrap the presents. 🙂
Another tip, the mum’s do not speak any English if any at all so do prepare a note to state your intentions to their mum if you want to say something to them (especially if you don’t know any Korean as well).
Here’s how the interior of Kona Beans look like:
Pretty nice place to chill out and there are power plugs there for you to charge your phones and power your laptop in the time you are there.
So yeah, go throw some money at our Super Junior boys if you can. At least you know that the money ARE really going towards our boys. 🙂
which exit from apujeong rodeo station?
exit 6. thanks for highlighting that i missed out that info. 🙂
I will go to Korea in November. I found this really helpful. lets see if I can reach kona beans! hahaah
