SKECHERS SUNDOWN FESTIVAL 2014 Fanmeet Post Mortem

SKECHERS SUNDOWN FESTIVAL 2014 fanmeet was held at Changi City Point on 21 November 2014.

I decided to drop by the fanmeet mainly because of Cross Gene. I’ve been keeping tabs on them since they debut back in 2012 so such a fanmeet is something that I’ve been waiting for since then!

The emcee announced that we would have the opportunity to be up close and personal with the stars and have the opportunity to take pictures with them. I also found out then that quite a few artists will be there for the fanmeet as well!

Shigga Shay was the first artist to arrive. He is down to earth and super chill. He made me feel like we were friends. ^^ He greeted me with a smile and we had a little conversation. I remember him telling me that he was really hyped up and ready for the performance at the Sundown Festival 2014. All the fans got an autographed poster and got to take a photo with him too!

Jeremy Teng @ Sundown Festival 2014 Fan Meet (Singapore)

Jeremy Teng came next. He only did a short interview on stage before leaving.

Finally! The moment that I have been wating for!! Cross Gene was coming next!!

I literally died each time I shook each member’s hand. Meeting each one of them up close and person feels so surreal! Shin is so good looking! Howeverm it was really disappointing that there was no photograph taking or autograph; it was more like a handshake, touch and go session.

WEAVER @ Sundown Festival 2014 Fan Meet (Singapore)

WEAVER was another dream come true! I fell in love with them when I came across their song ‘Hard To Say I Love You’ a couple of years ago.

It was my first time meeting a J-rock band and I don’t know what to expect and neither do I know what is expected from me. The WEAVER guys are super nice and it was really sweet of them to try to converse in English. Even though I didn’t manage to get a photo with them, a signed poster of WEAVER was good enough for me. ^^

I left after WEAVER left the stage and I didn’t bother to stay for the rest of the other artists who were supposed to come on stage. It also seems like the announcement of what we could experience with each artist wasn’t exactly what was mentioned by the emcee. It appeared to be a little disjoint to me.  Hopefully, things will be better next time.

Here are the rest of the photos that came out well from the fan meet.
