The Vamps’ concert is one of the most fun concerts that I’ve been to in these recent years. The energy from The Vamps boys was infectious and couple it with loads of catchy pop/rock tunes, it already feels like it will be one of the best concerts I’ll attended in 2016!
In fact, I felt that it was a little more fun than the One Direction concert last year. I think it’s in part how The Vamps played at The Coliseum, which was a way smaller than the National Stadium so the concert felt very intimate.

The special guests/opening band, The Tide, were pretty cool as well. They kicked off their set on time at 7.30 pm. I was impressed! In their 25 minutes set, they played 5 songs. Check out their setlist:
- Shut Up And Dance (Walk The Moon cover)
- Young Love
- The Rest Of Us
- Falling In Love Tonight
- What You Give

The Vamps took to the stage just a little before 8.30 pm and here is their setlist for the night:
- Rest Your Love
- Cheater
- Somebody To Love
- Uptown Funk (Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars cover)
- Medley
- Tristan Drum solo to a medley of songs
- Last Night
- I Found A Girl
- Wildheart
- A Million Words (Bradley acoustic solo)
- Volcano
- Can We Dance
- ENCORE: Oh Cecilia (Breaking My Heart)
- ENCORE: Wake Up
I must say that I hear a little bit of McFly in The Vamps and I guess that’s why my ears were so attracted to their sound. Then there is this sexy beast of a guy called Bradley that reminds me a little of a certain Mr Styles but he is way more boyish-ly adorable.
I felt like the 1 hour 10 minutes concert was too short and I just couldn’t get enough! I also wished that they didn’t do the covers and did more of their own original songs instead. I was hoping that they’d perform “Be With You” and/or “Boy Without A Car” but they didn’t.
Also, I noticed how Bradley was struggling to hit some notes because his voice had broken since he recorded some of the earlier songs but it didn’t matter at all; coz everyone in the audience was singing along to every single word for every song! The audience enthusiasm in singing along is pretty incredible!! The audience atmosphere earlier tonight was pretty damn awesome and it was a major factor in making The Vamps concert so fun!!
I’m having pretty bad withdrawl symptoms of The Vamps right now. I’ve seen them boys for 3 consecutive days and I feel like I still haven’t gotten enough of them… and I haven’t felt like that for an artist since 2010 for Super Junior. Send help!
Anyway, I really hope the make good on their word to return to Singapore for another concert the next time they tour. Can’t wait!
