I’ve been a fan of ONE OK ROCK’s music for quite some time so when I found out that they are performing in Yokohama Arena while I was in Japan, I bought my ticket to their “Ambitions” Japan Tour 2017 on 22 April 2017 without thinking twice despite the SGD320 ticket price. No regrets.

When I arrived at the venue, I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of fans there. I was totally lost and I have absolutely no idea how to get to the entrance in the crowd and it didn’t help that all signage was in Japanese and I cannot Japanese. Fortunately, the Japanese fans are generally pretty nice and this nice fan even went out of her way to walk me to my seat even though we could not communicate with each other. How sweet was that?
Mr. Children opened the concert and there was a 20 minutes interval after their set before ONE OK ROCK took to the stage.
ONE OK ROCK started their show with “Bombs Away” and the crowd just went wild! Taka’s energy on stage just blew me away. During the performance of “20/20”, Taka (lead singer) and Toru (lead guitarist) start some love-hate skinship thing and I was just screaming like mad. LOL.
I was really happy to watch ONE OK ROCK perform one of my favourite song “Wherever You are” live. One item in the bucket list checked. I wished they had performed “Heartache” thought. Oh well, that’ll be for the next time… I hope.

ONE OK ROCK’s showmanship is really top notch! They are able to get everyone in the arena to sing and dance along to all of their songs; even those in the nosebleeds! I must admit that I did feel a tinge of regret for not buying the ticket for their show on the next day at the same venue in Yokohama.

I hope someone would bring ONE OK ROCK back to Singapore and I’m so definitely going to be there to relive the high of attending their concert all over again!
Hi, may I know how did you buy the ticket from Singapore?
