It’s been a long time coming! To be able to attend a live show in-person again!! I did watched a couple of live online concerts from my beloved Super Junior. I definitely don’t mind the lower ticket prices and not having to long for ages at the toilet. However, it is not the same high when you are watching it alone at home in your pyjama.
I’ve focused on nothing much else beyond work and starting a home urban farm in the in-person live shows void. To the extent that I didn’t even know that Dream Academy is doing a limited in-person audience FUN-raising show this Christmas! It stars the iconic Kumar, Dim Sum Dollies and Broadway Beng. The show will also feature the singing and comedic talents of Robin Goh, John Lee, Neo Swee Lin and Lim Kay Siu!
There was no need to even think about the safety measures, venue, dates or price when someone told me about this show. I’m like, just tell me what is the date and time of the show. Hahaha.
Anyway, the Dream Academy’s Crazy Christmas Fun-raising Concert is happening from 15 – 20 December 2020 at the Esplanade Theatre. Tickets are priced at $500, $350 and $250 exclusive of SISTIC fees. Click here to get your tickets if you are interested.
Don’t deny that the price is steep for a 1 hour and 10 minutes show (no intermission) BUT I do believe that it’s important for this show to be a success as it is a litmus test to resume in-person events/shows.
Besides, I’ve spent way more money on some other concerts/show (ie, S$600 for Madonna) and I usually spend thousands a year on live shows if you count how many I attend. So, yes, I can and am willing to afford this.
That said, if you are able to afford it and have some time to spare, consider to support this Dream Academy show responsibly to make our live show/events scene great again!
