Jiuzhaigou Scenic and Historic Interest Area is definitely one of the most beautiful natural scenery places I’ve ever been in my life (so far and probably the rest of it as well).

The sights and sounds are just pure amazing!! Rather than try to describe it, I’ll just show you coz a picture speaks a thousand words and add a little caption/description below it.

A long time ago, there used to be a lot of bamboo in this area that the pandas love but alas, it’s all gone now.

Also, early in the morning, before the breeze, the water will be still and have a mirror like appearance like the Mirror Lake. It is this lake where Zhang Yi Mou filmed one of the scenes for Hero (英雄).

Apparently, in the past, pandas love to come to this lake to drink and that’s why it’s been named Panda Lake.

Norilang Waterfall (诺日朗瀑布) is my favourite scenery of them all! There’s something so ethereal about this waterfall. Everything about this view is so unreal! It looks like heaven where the fairies play.
