I’m not sure if you guys have heard but there’s been talk of the Foo Fighters coming back to Singapore to do a one night only gig at the Padang on 2 March 2012!!
I’m pretty sure the Foo Fighters gig is for real though I’m not sure if the 2 March 2012 is confirmed as yet. Someone from MyPaper contacted me today to make a comment about the Foo Fighters concert in Singapore. That said, it pretty much is enough confirmation to me that the gig IS happening.
I also believe that the announcement about the gig should be made in the next few days as the article about Foo Fighters is due to be out tomorrow (12 January 2012).
While I’m excited about the gig, if it’s really happening on 2 March I’ll be quite gutted as that’s when I’m flying out for a holiday. Dammit. π Oh well.
Anyway, when the official announcement is out, I’ll update this article with the details as usual.

What did I say? π Today in The Straits Times Life! Section, the front page screamed “FOO FIGHTERS”. The gig has now been officially announced and confirmed that it will happen on 2 March 2012 at The Padang. This gig in Singapore is the ONLY date in South East Asia and is the only other gig in Asia besides Japan.
While I’m excited that the gig is confirmed, I’m also gutted at the same time that I can’t go for it. CRAP!!!! URGH!! The only gig in South East Asia and I can’t go!! head/desk.

Breaking news y’all, Lushington and Chugg Entertainment Asia has just released an announcement that the Foo Fighters gig in Japan and Asia has been cancelled.

Not sure which member it is at this point though. Seems like it’s Dave Grohl (which Chugg Entertainment Asia put in their comment of this scan). Anyone has any idea?
