A couple of days before I flew off to Manila for the KNation Showcase thing, some friends and fans in Manila told me that the fan sign event was moved to a day before (4 October 2014) the showcase day (5 October 2014). Thank God that I insisted on flying into Manila earlier otherwise I would have missed the fan sign event.
I would have been super upset because the only reason I am headed to Manila was Bigstar; I would have cried to know that I missed out on meeting Bigstar. I heard that there were some Malaysian fans who missed the fan sign because they flew in on Saturday itself. I felt quite bad for them.
That said, I was definitely the only Bigstar fan from Singapore who was there at the fansign event. LOL. Representing yo! Hahahaha.
Anyway, M.Pire was the first artist to arrive at SM City Manila for the fansign event. I have absolutely no idea who is who even though I had watched them on Mnet’s Idol Battle. The only reason I even remembered their name was because M.Pire battled A-Prince on the show.
Despite joining the queue to get in line for the Bigstar fansign, the organisers decided to change it at the last minute such that anyone who is got into the for M.Pire, 4Ladies or Bigstar fansign, gets to meet M.Pire, 4Ladies and Bigstar.
So yeah, whatever the reason was, get the autograph first then decide what to do with it later. LOL. So viola:

The M.Pire boys are really nice and everyone except T.O. (bottom left) wrote my name. LOL. In part coz before we went up on stage, the organisers were passing post-it notes around to tell everyone to write their name on the post-it so the M.Pire boys could copy instead of taking forever to spell your name.
I wrote my name in hangul so the M.Pire boys were very quick with signing for me. However, the organisers told everyone to hurry and M.Pire were taking a bit longer to sign for emily.nur as she wrote her name in English so there was this awkward pause I had with every M.Pire member because I was stuck behind emily.nur as M.Pire was copying emily.nur’s name.
So in the end, to break the awkward silence I told the boys “fighting for the concert tomorrow” in Korean and they all smiled and said, “Thank you” as they shook my hand in return.
There was no selfies or hugs allowed with the M.Pire boys but it’s cool. I still am not crazy about them even after I met them; I don’t dislike them but I’m just neutral towards them.
That said, here are the photos that turned out well from the fansign event. Enjoy!
