Coldplay has been described to be the most boring band in the world. And to be honest, I was never really into Coldplay’s earlier stuff (until X&Y) so I bought into the whole “Coldplay is a boring band” story. And boy, I was so wrong and how much have I missed out all those years?!
I rediscovered Coldplay again when Chris Martin did carpool karaoke with James Cordon and BOOM!
Sold.
When tickets for the “A Head Full Of Dreams Tour” for Singapore went on sale, I managed to emerge victorious from the ticket war with tickets!!

The concert was an all out rave party from the get go at around 8.05 pm (SG).

Because of all the jumping and dancing in the standing pen, it was absolutely insane and practically impossible to remain still enough to get a nice fan cam. Hahaha. Not complaining for sure. My fan cams are for memories’ sake than anything else.
I was really, really, really damn happy that my top 3 favourite Coldplay song is in the set list; ie Fix You, Viva La Vida and Hymn For The Weekend.

Towards the end of the concert, Chris Martin was like, “Singapore is so awesome, I’m going to make up a song about Singapore right now.” and this was the result:
(Apologies for the shit video quality.) Pretty damn cool right?! Hahaha.
I like the LED wrists bands they were gave out at the concert. The wrist bands were activated by the production controls and it changed colours according to the programme/song . The whole stadium lit up/blinked in sync and it’s absolutely beautiful!!
Also, there was so much confetti used during the concert!! It felt more like “A Stadium Full of Confetti Tour” tour” than “A Head Full of Dreams Tour” to be honest. LOL. I feel bad for the cleaners who have to clean it all up on top of all the litter that all the idiot concert goers left behind. Confetti is quite a pain in the ass to clean up.

I was so high when the concert eventually ended at 10.00 pm (SG). Withdrawl symptoms kicked in almost immediately. All the angst I had before the concert about the queue chaos was all forgotten and forgiven. I hope Coldplay makes good on their word to come back and play in Singapore a lot more.
Till the next Coldplay concert!!
