I finally went to Dongdonglee’s Haru & OneDay café after it opened some time last year. I’ve wanted to go on my previous trips but I either didn’t have the time or none of my friends wanted to go and there wasn’t a compelling reason enough to make the trip all the way to hang out at the café by myself without my laptop.
I must say that this is probably the easiest café to get to. It’s almost impossible to get lost. Take Line 2 (green) to Seongsu Station. Get out from Exit 4 and you’ll see this:

Haru & OneDay is right where the purple arrow is. It is that easy to find.

I like the clean and simple zen interior design within the café. Very sleek and modern. This café is really for you to go and chill/hang out with friends. It’s absolutely not suitable for studying/getting things done that requires a laptop as I did notice that there wasn’t any power plugs available like at Yesung’s Mouse Rabbit.

We got the mango smoothie and the chocolate brownie to share. The mango smoothie is nice but the chocolate brownie was a little dry. Maybe it’s coz it’s been sitting in the cooler for a while and that’s why it’s so dry. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m very particular about my chocolate and Donghae, you know I love you but I cannot and will not compromise on my chocolate requirements.
Either way, Haru & OneDay is definitely a much better managed place compared to his previous Taco Place (which has been closed as I heard). I’d recommend a visit to Haru & OneDay and you can café hop to Mouse Rabbit after this as Mobit is just one subway stop away.
Also, I simply do not have any fate/luck with Donghae. It seems like 2 days after I visited Haru & OneDay, Donghae went to the café!! This is the second time I have missed him at the cafés. Boo.
Someday I’ll meet him. I’ll keep hoping.
