Carly Rae Jepsen has the longest set for the night with 15 songs.

I’ve read and heard a few comments on how Carly Rae Jepsen isn’t very good live but having seen and heard her for myself now, I didn’t think so. She is not the best live vocally that I’ve ever seen and heard but she certainly isn’t bad. I’d say she is a 7 out of 10 in terms of vocals and showmanship. (Christina Aguilera is the 10.)

The crowd favourite was obviously “Call Me Maybe”. I really like the introduction verse/bridge to “Call Me Maybe”. The mass singalong to “Call Me Maybe” was also fun! Concert mass sing-alongs are always awesome especially how everyone is in tune and on key.

My favourite song for Carly’s performance is actually “Tonight I’m Getting Over You”. It is such a great dance-y song and a little underrated in my opinion.

That said, here are the rest of my photos of Carly which turned out good. You’re welcome. πŸ™‚

  1. 1. Christina’s name is Aguilera , not “Arguilera”.

    2. I agree with 7 out of 10 for Carly’s live performance. While all of her albums deserve 9 or 10, and her “Call me Maybe” gets 10 of 10. She is a great songwriter and fantastic studio singer, and so I can never get enough of her albums, especially on my long journeys by car!

Thank you for your report. BTW: Christina Aguilera has the better live voice, but Carly puts much more emotion and positive energy to the stage and especially to her albums. So I would always vote for Carly.
