GOT7 was in town recently for a mini fan meet on 23 February 2016, in conjunction with the launch of K-Live, the first ever hologram theatre in Singapore.
It was an extremely exclusive fan meet as only 70 tickets were released for sale and by pure luck, I managed to get hold of my tickets after the ticketing system crash. I started to like GOT7 recently and this must be fate to be able to secure tickets to see them in such circumstances.

The fanmeet started off with an autograph session and I could barely contain myself when I saw Mark as I neared the table. Mark was about the write my name on the card but I stopped him and whispered, “Is it possible to ask BamBam to write my name?”
However, before Mark could respond, someone took my card, put it in front of Mark and told him to write my name. Mark apologised and scribbled my name on the card.
While Mark was still signing, BamBam was looking over with that mesmerising smile of his. When I finally moved towards BamBam, he went “Heeeyyy!!”.
I blurted out, “BamBam, you are my favourite!” to which BamBam responded by saying, “Never change your bias!”. I didn’t catch what he said so I was like, “huh?”. Looking at me straight in the eye, BamBam whispered, “Don’t ever change your bias!”.
Me: “But why?”
BamBam: “Can only love one! Love only me! Just me! Ok? Now, high five!”
*we hi-5*
BamBam: “Ok, deal. That’s a promise ok? Remember, love only me!”
How could I say no to that? BamBam and I sealed our promise again with a fist bump as I moved towards the next few members.
The rest of the members were polite and we didn’t talk much and just hi-fived and moved on. Junior looks so perfect though… *sighs dreamily*
Here are some of the other photos that I took during the K-Live Sentosa GOT7 mini fan meet:
During the photo-taking session, even though we were told that we cannot choose which member to sit with, I managed to sit with BamBam! Hahaha! #Fate.

Just before we left the stage, BamBam fist bumped me and emphasised once again that I “cannot change bias. Ok?”
The GOT7 boys picked a few lucky fans to go up on stage to take a solo photo with them. Junior called out my number and I was stunned!! What luck! Needless to say, I ran up on stage, straight towards BamBam.
BamBam recognised me from earlier and went “Oh! She is my bias” and proceeded to give me a hug. It must have been too obvious that I only had eyes for BamBam that Junior had to speak up and say, “Hold on, you’re a BamBam fan? So… you hate us?”
As BamBam protested, Junior continued, “You don’t like me?”
I tried to explain myself and Mark “ignored” me and said “jokingly” to the rest of the room, “Who needs the rest of GOT7?” LOL.
Honestly, it felt a little awkward for a while but BamBam said it’s ok and then we gathered for a photo. You can see how the rest of the GOT7 boys deliberately left a gap between themselves and BamBam and I. LOL.

After we took the photo, BamBam said to me, “Don’t ever change your bias ok? Promise me!”
I was so elated that I didn’t hear Junior asking me to hug BamBam and I walked away! Hahaha. Junior pulled me back and nudged me towards BamBam for a hug. And as I was walking off the stage for real,
Junior: Ok, goodbye forever! Goodbye forever, forever goodbye…
BamBam: Don’t shower!! Thank You… Don’t… Dont’ shower!
Junior: Bye bye!! *keeps waving*
That was definitely the most fun fanmeet that I’ve ever been to so far. The GOT7 boys are really fun and their fan service is top-notch! BamBam definitely lived up to his title of “King of Fan Service”.
It was a shame that Jackson wasn’t there at the fanmeet and I wonder what would it be like it Jackson was there. LOL. I’m definitely looking forward to the next encounter with them!
