I found out that Alice Nine would be doing some live recording thing at the Harajuku Ameba Studios on 18 June 2018 and coincidentally, it was the day I was scheduled to arrive in Tokyo. My flight would land in the wee hours of the morning on 18 June 2018 so I have to rush over to Harajuku to try my luck right? It’s Alice Nine!!
I arrived at the Harajuku Ameba Studios in time to grab the tickets to see Alice Nine!! I just couldn’t believe my luck!! And they were only giving out 50 tickets!!

Initially, when I found about Alice Nine doing a studio recording, I thought it would be like an indoor studio like the Korean music shows type thing. However, I was so wrong. The tickets were actually the queue numbers to stand outside the window of the open studio to see Alice Nine through a glass panel. Boo!

However, I must admit that it was quite nice to have about 15~20 minutes worth of face time with Alice Nine through a glass panel without a crazy mob of fans jostling to get a glimpse. The staff ushered us in small groups and made sure that every one has a chance to be in the front row at the glass to see Alice Nine.

Show, Hiroto and Saga were there are the Harajuku Ameba Studios to give fans some beauty tips. I didn’t really understand what was going on but with my limited Japanese vocabulary, I only understood the part where the emcee asked Saga how he would use the beauty product and Saga’s reaction was hilarious!
There was also a part where the emcee asked Alice Nine to describe the type of lady they like and Saga mentioned that he is attracted to girls who is into his music and not him.
Also, each of us there are the recording was also given a box of Deep Cleaning Oil by DHC. Can’t wait to try it out!
The entire “so near yet so far” with Alice Nine experience was short but still nice and memorable. Thank you Alice Nine!
