We Are Scientists played live for the first time in Singapore at Fort Gate as the opening act for Neon Trees.
I was fortunate enough to attend the meet and greet for Neon Trees and went into the venue in time to see We Are Scientists do soundcheck.
Given that it’s a soundcheck and there was no one on the grounds yet, I took the chance to go all the way to the front of the stage to get photos of each of the members.
Andy noticed me taking photos and he tipped his head to say “hi” so I smiled and waved to him. He then waved his drumsticks back. In retrospect, I should have asked for his drumsticks or a pick from Keith/Chris or something. Oh well.
Anyway, I must say that I am not familiar with the discography of We Are Scientists at all but I must say that I did enjoy myself during their set.
Chris was so full of shit. Hahaha. He is hilarious! There were 2 beams of spotlight that shone into the trees behind and for the whole night, he was talking some owl that’s sitting in the tree and pissing him off. And among the 3 of them, he definitely can pass off as a scientist. Hahaha.
