Neon Trees live at Fort Gate, Singapore and the Meet and Greet

Neon Trees performed live for the first time in Singapore at Fort Gate and I was lucky enough to attend the meet and greet with the band at the venue courtesy of FIJI Water.

As I have already met the band once when they arrived in Singapore, they recognized me and were totally sweet and nice as usual. 🙂 Tyler gave me a hug as we took this picture. They’re definitely one of the nicest bands I’ve ever met.

That night at the gig, they opened with “Your Surrender”. The set was pretty similar to the one they did at World Stage.

Tyler was just a ball of energy! He was bouncing all over the stage and definitely very entertaining to watch.

I was having a really bad sore throat that night and I quite literally couldn’t speak without being in pain. Still, the excitement and high when Neon Trees performed “1983” and “Animal” got the better of me and I started singing along at the top of my lungs. (I’m so paying for it now.)

I also had a lot of fun trying to hit the balloons that they threw out during the encore songs. After jumping around for a bit, I managed to hit one. Hahaha. Considered grabbing one to bring home but then I was asking myself what I needed it for. Haha.

Anyone took the balloon home? What did you do with it?

It was definitely a really fun concert and big thanks to the people at FIJI Water for everything! 🙂
