The awesome people at MTV Asia asked me to interview Vanness Wu earlier today. Honestly, I was a little intimidated because this blog of mine has always been pretty fan experience/opinion based. This would be a first to be interacting with a celebrity/artist with them thinking that I’m from some media entity.
I was hesitant to accept the offer initially because I was worried about asking stupid questions in front of the reporters/journalists from traditional media (ie, newspaper, magazines, tv). I’ve been known among us Stalkerazzi for saying stupid/outrageous things (depending on your pespective) to the artists all in the name of being an excited fan. πΒ I decided to take up the offer in the end as I wanted to challenge myself to actually try to behave and act like a professional journalist. Hahaha.

Fortunately, I didn’t fangirl over Vanness too obviously (I think and hope). Hehe. I must admit that while the journalist from SPH was talking, I spaced out while staring at Vanness’ eyes, rings and shoe and I then lost track of the content of the interview. (It didn’t help that they were speaking in Mandarin which I suck at. Hell, I think Vanness’ Mandarin is better than mine though he’s clearly more comfortable with English! Hahaha.)
I will have to listen to the recording to post a separate blog entry with excerpts and highlights from the interview. I’ll probably upload the whole audio clip if I can edit it to a decent quality. Vanness was practically whispering throughout the whole interview and I’m not even sure if everything was recorded to be honest.
I do have to say that Vanness looked good today in a t-shirt and red jeans. Bloody hell! If I wore t-shirt and jeans, I look like crap. No doubt that the difference is in his star appeal and self-confidence/assurance. #envious. Oh and of coz, his fit physique helped too. π And just so you all know, I did you all a favour and asked Vanness on when he intends to take his shirt off to share his abs with us again. His response: *laughs* “Maybe at my solo concert.”
You’re welcomed. π
That said, here are the rest of the photos that I took during the photo-taking session after the round-table interview with Vanness:
