Men’s Fashion Week 2012 Singapore Opening Night

I got word quite literally hours before the start of Men’s Fashion Week 2012 and I decided to head down since I realised that the hunkerlicious Daniel Henney would be making an appearance during Men’s Fashion Week 2012.

The ultra exclusive show held at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre had a cozy yet spacious zen feel to the decor.

About 7 pm, Dominic Lau from E! News Asia greeted the first of the red carpet arrivals. Everyone was dressed dressed to kill. Amazing.

At 8 pm, Men’s Fashion Week 2012 Singapore started with the latest Collection from Spencer Hart. I really like the clean lines and classic designs. It’s totally in line with Nick Hart’s phliosophy of understated/effortlessly cool.

Utt (ex MTV VJ) is the host of Men’s Fasion Week for the second year. He brought Frank Cintamani, the big boss of Men’s Fashion Week, out to give a quick opening address.

Korean group 8Eight then did a short performance before the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Marina Bay Sands, Mark Juliano, made an address.

Without further ado, the highly anticipated Autumn/Winter Collection 2012 from Korean designer Songzio took to the stage. The collection features darker tones like violet, brown and grey (I’m not fashionista so please don’t shoot me if I get the colours wrong).

AFter that was a performance by the super talented YouTube sensation Sungha Jung. He is really amazing and I’m totally in awe of his skill. Fellow YouTuber Megan Lee also came on stage for a performance.

That rounded up the opening show and then it was off to the post show party!
