After M.Pire hit the stage at the KNation Showcase in Manila on 5 October 2014 at the SMX Convention Center, the girls from 4Ladies were up next.

The 4Ladies set was super short; they only did 3 songs. First was their debut song “Move”, second was Jennifer Lopez’s “On The Floor” and the last was a medley of Psy’s “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman”.

EDIT: (Thank you to “Madam” in the comments!) 4Ladies did 4 songs and their last song is “Sunset Glow”.

Unfortunately for the girls, it was a completely wrong choice for songs to cover. LOL. I watched Jennifer Lopez do her thing at the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix just a mere 2 weeks before the showcase. It is really very difficult to not see the stark disparity in the level of showmanship, vocal prowess and dance moves. Needless to say, I wasn’t impressed at all. Sorry girls. #notsorry

Regardless, I know 4Ladies are still rookies and they debut barely 2 months ago and I should close and eye and a ear… but still. It is against my musical conscience and standards to say nice/neutral stuff about a performance when it really isn’t.

Anyway, hopefully, the next time I watch 4Ladies perform live, they’ll do so much better.
