BIGSTAR performed after 4Ladies at the KNation Showcase in Manila on 5 October 2014 at the SMX Convention Center.
I don’t think it is a secret how much I adore and appreciate the boys of BIGSTAR as an artist. While they may be promoted like a kpop idol group, I know these boys are anything but flaky or fluffy. They definitely have the talent and skills to show for it.
This is my second time watching BIGSTAR perform live and I am still awed and impressed by their performance.
I remember actually going “WOW!!” when Feeldog jumped onto the back of Sunghak and Jude during their performance of “Hotboy” and then he did this really, really high jump off their backs. It is a difficult move but Feeldog just makes it look like it is so easy to jump and stand on someone’s back. I bow once again. orz
BIGSTAR did 5 songs at the showcase:
- Hotboy
- 생각나 (Thinking Of You)
- Be Brave
- 일단 달려 (Run & Run)
- 느낌이 와 (I Got The Feeling)
I actually like the song “Be Brave” a lot but it’s a shame that the song is never performed in full because of the amount of badass-ness in the song. Hahaha.
Regardless, Brave Sound can do no wrong. Be it a BIGSTAR song or not, I have never heard Brave Sound release a bad song.
The showcase was close to Baram’s birthday so @BraveBigstar_PH presented a cake to Baram while the other boys lead the audience to sing a birthday song for him. 🙂
I actually only noticed the look on Bigstar’s faces when they saw the cake while I was editing the photos. Hahaha. The way they were eyeing the cake.

That cake was solid. I was helping the admin at @BraveBigstar_PH carry the cake for a while and it’s so damn heavy! I can just imagine the amount of chocolate and sugar used on the cake for it to be so heavy. It has to be at least 2 kg.
Anyway, back to the concert, BIGSTAR was no doubt as brilliant as I expected and I can’t wait to watch them perform again! Hopefully soon. ^^
