Finally! I find a gap to post this. (Computer battery died and I had sent it for repairs and only got it back a few days ago.)

It’s been about 3 weeks since Super Junior’s “Super Show 7” in Singapore on 27 January 2018 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. It’s only been 3 weeks and I already miss them so much. Can’t wait for the next time I see them at Super Show 7 in Taiwan to be honest. Hehe.

Super Show 7 Singapore is the first overseas Super Show 7 since the Seoul dates. The show in Singapore was pretty different from the Seoul one. The stage was slightly different and the setlist was different too. In fact, given that Super Show 7 Bangkok and Super Show 7 Hong Kong is over as I type this, Singapore was the only stop which didn’t have the revolving centre stage, chandelier nor the effect of the official light stick changing colour. 🙁

All the dates outside of Seoul didn’t have the live band as well. Which was a shame coz I thought it was really fun with the live band. Also, the piano intro before 비처럼 가지 마요 (One More Chance) was just a video and not Donghae playing live.
Singapore set list:
- Black Suit
- Scene Stealer
- MAMACITA (아야야)
- Shirt
- 예뻐 보여 (Girlfriend)
- This Is Love
- Too Late
- 너라고 (It’s You)
- 비처럼 가지 마요 (One More Chance)
- 기억을 따라 (Memories)
- 별이 뜬다 (Stars Appear…)
- 로꾸거!!! (Rokkugo)
- Dancers’ Dance Performance: U, Oppa Oppa and 축이 와 (Can You Feel It?)
- Runaway
- Too Many Beautiful Girls
- Magic
- Siwon DJ-ing to Let’s Dance
- On and On
- Super Duper
- Sorry, Sorry
- Mr Simple
- 미인아 (BONAMANA)
- I Do (두 번째 고백)
- The Lucky Ones
- Shining Star
- ENCORE: Devil
- ENRORE: Spin Up
- ENCORE: Miracle
However, all that said, Super Show 7 Singapore was no less fun than that in Seoul! It was super emotional in Seoul while in Singapore, the Super Junior boys were clearly happier and being their cheeky selves throughout the 3 hours concert that started at around 4.10 pm (SG).

Also, I don’t know if you guys realised this but because the Super Junior boys know that English is the first language in Singapore, they always try their best to speak in English despite their limited vocabulary; which is exactly why Super Show in Singapore is always so entertaining.

As a result of their limited vocabulary, the things they say always take a saucy turn; whether it was intended or not. Hahaha. (Remember how Heechul declared in Super Show 6 that “TONIGHT I GO TO YOUR ROOM!!!” because he couldn’t really think of anything else to say in English? Hahahaha!!!) #bouncebounce

Where the dancers’ did a dance performance while Super Junior changed, in Seoul, that’s when the live band played a medley. I must say that I kinda preferred the dancers’ performance because of the video clip which they played before the segment. It was super funny and to top it off, they danced to 축이 와 (Can You Feel It?)!! That is one of my all time favourite Super Junior D&E songs! I still have that song as my ringtone. 😀

I have one gripe about Super Show 7 this time around. They kinda laxed the rule to allow mobile phone photography and videoing at the concert and everyone just focused on taking photos and videos instead of enjoying themselves in the moment. Please people, put down your phones during the concert. You DON’T need to record everything. A couple of videos of full songs or 1 minute worth of footage for Instagram is more than enough!
Anyway, this is no doubt a Super Junior concert and it is always fun regardless. The pain and hassle is worth it. That said, I’ll see some of you again at the Taipei stop of Super Show 7. Till then~
