Lee Byung Hun was in town to grace the red carpet for Larry Crowne. Hordes of his fans showed up to see their idol of coz. While we were asking him for an autograph, a bunch of fans suddenly surged from behind and the barricade nearly fell over! A crew quickly ran over and pushed the barricades so that it doesn’t fall over and no … Continue reading Lee Byung Hun at the Larry Crowne premiere in Singapore
Zhang Ziyi was also in town for the inaugural Screen Singapore 2011. She has been here for the whole week and gracing the red carpet for various movie premieres. She was lovely at the red carpet today. I was hearing from some of the Screen Singapore participants that she was a bit of a bitch at the opening gala premiere of “The Devil Inside Me” … Continue reading Zhang Ziyi at the Larry Crowne premiere in Singapore
Tom Hanks was in town to promote his movie Larry Crowne and he graced the red carpet at Shaw Centre’s Lido in Singapore. The Larry Crowne premiere was part of the closing red carpet of the inaugural Screen Singapore 2011. Despite being a Hollywood star, he is very nice and obliged to autographs to anyone who asked along the red carpet. MTV Asia once again held a special bloggers screening for the MTV Movie Awards 2011. I had an awesome time watching the awards and chatting with fellow bloggers and the MTV crew. I also totally love the popcorn plush that they gave us. It’s super cute!!! MTV should get Jason Sudeikis to the VMAs later in the year or some other award show next year. … Continue reading MTV Asia bloggers screening of MTV Movie Awards 2011
So yesterday, I headed down to the City Square Mall with Roxanne to go get a glimpse of the 4 TVB actors: Kevin Cheng (郑嘉颖）, Ron Ng (吴卓羲), Bosco Wong (黄宗泽) and Moses Chan (陈豪). I have been in love with Kevin and Ron for years after watching so many TVB dramas and I finally got a chance to see them in person. They’ve been … Continue reading Kevin Cheng, Ron Ng, Bosco Wong & Moses Chan
Korean hottie actor Jang Guen Suk was back in town for a showcase/autograph signing/photo taking fan meet session. The autograph signing and photo taking session was at Marina Square and since it was a public holiday yesterday and I like him (since You’re Beautiful), I decided to make a trip down to Marina Square to catch a glimpse of him. When we got there, there … Continue reading Jang Kuen Suk Cri Show Singapore @ Marina Square
So I went to The Wanted’s showcase @ Movida (Singapore) yesterday. I was quite shocked to see the queue there really. There hasn’t been a showcase that has been able to garner this kind of crowd since the boyband era of the late 90s and early 2000s. Anyway, I have watched The Wanted performed in London during the Jingle Bell Ball 2010. To be honest, … Continue reading The Wanted Showcase @ Movida Singapore
So I was asked to go along meet DJ Tashi who was in town to spin at the City Alive event which is like the Chingay after show party. So we arrived at the F1 pit building to see that the dancers from the Tri-crew getting ready for soundcheck. It was a 2 hour or so wait before DJ Tashi did his soundcheck. I like … Continue reading City Alive Soundcheck
So I popped down to The Cathay to try my luck at getting an autograph at the Green Hornet Gala Premiere. To be honest, the premiere was crap. It’s nowhere near the awesomeness of the London premieres I’ve been too. If the Burlesque premiere was a 10, the Tron: Legacy premiere was a 7. The Green Hornet Singapore Gala Premiere was a -2. Firstly, the … Continue reading The Green Hornet Gala Premiere @ The Cathay
Didn’t plan to do much for the day actually. Was just planning to chill and that’s exactly what I did. That is until we found out that there was a premiere in Leicester Square for Tron. We weren’t too keen on going initially because it was just Jeff Bridges and Olivia Wilde. No offense to any of them but I have never been that into … Continue reading [2010.12.05] Tron London Premiere
